What is Catholic Engaged Encounter?

Catholic Engaged Encounter is a weekend program that gives couples
preparing for marriage the opportunity to examine their lives together
through communication.

• Time to share feelings, hopes,
disappointments, joys and frustrations

• To share openly and honestly in a face-to-face,
heart-to-heart setting designed to deepen and
enrich the relationship with each other and
with God

• A time for couples to have private time together
to focus on their couple relationship

• A program that emphasizes Christian values of
commitment and responsibility to marriage, to
God, and to the church community

• Designed to facilitate personal growth and
growth as a couple

• Fulfills the requirement for marriage prep in many
states and diocese including: St. Paul/Minneapolis,
Duluth, Crookston, New Ulm, St. Cloud, and
Winona in MN; and diocese of Superior in WI
